No one warns you how painful it is to realize you have outgrown your marriage.

No one can describe the hole in your heart when a friendship ends after you start choosing yourself over pouring out onto her.

No one can prepare you for the courage it takes to burn down what the world sees as valuable for an invisible sense of peace.

No one could make you understand in the moment how every loss, every challenge, every adversity was an opportunity in disguise, except for a woman who has been there and come back.

I am that woman.
